The theme for our inaugural 2022 Strengthening Mental Health Services Conference was: “Building a new cultural perspective towards mental health”. The conference was an opportunity to bring mental health professionals and other vested stakeholders together in order to share knowledge and tools to help improve the work that we do. The 2022 Conference was an amazing opportunity to dialogue on matters relating to mental health and wellbeing. Through various initiatives, we will continue to raise awareness, advocate for access to quality services for all and enhance mental health practitioners’ skill set with the best cultural specific tools that match the service to the needs of the population.
